"Begpacker" or "Voluntourism"

Would You be More Likely to be a ‘Begpacker’ or to Engage in ‘Voluntourism’?

If I were to engage in either of these, I feel that I would engage in voluntourism. That way I would at least be trying to do something good for other people, even if sometimes voluntourism can cause some negatives.

I would also choose voluntourism over “begpacking” just because I have a very negative view of people who would engage in something like that. I just find that it’s very irresponsible to go traveling when you know you don’t have the means and then beg for money when you want to go somewhere else instead of trying to get a job and save up money before hand. It’s just a very shitty thing to do in my opinion. I just find people who do that very entitled and immature.
